This is my first post ever, being so am very excited : ).
I’ll start by proudly saying i’m a die hard fan of rock music, started collecting music/rock albums since i was 15 years old. I remember sneaking back to the dormitory at night during prep time in high school, unfolding my music library (an old, ruffled up brown paper bag) containing my first ever Sony disc-man, couple of albums, my personal favorite being “Blue October’s, History for sale” album track 4 ‘Calling you’ and low impedance headphones.
Curled up underneath my sheets i’d started an addiction that would end up shaping the rest of my life.
10 years down the line I’ve become an avid collector of ‘Indie-folk,’ ‘alternative,’ ‘modern rock’ and ‘country’ rock albums.
Recently came across ‘Ron Pope’s’ 2012 ‘Atlanta’ album from which ‘A drop in the ocean’ track co-written by ‘Zach Berkman’ became an interntional hit.
In my opinion a whole lot of new and exciting releases are coming our way and some of indie rock artists to keep an eye on this year include ‘Ben Howard,’ Chris August’ ‘Bon Iver’ just to name a few, so gear up for a Rock solid 2013…(feel free to comment)….peace!!
